EMMA -project meeting was held March 8-9th in Helsinki at the premises of the Finnish Waterway Association. Around 30 project partners from Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Sweden and Finland representing companies and administrations gathered to discuss about the coming tasks and the progress and results so far.
Results have been very encouringing and the co-operation between partners fruitfull. Studies on inland waterway bottlenecks and inland waterway desicion-making bodies and structure have been conducted in all partner countris and pilots planned to carry on within the project are under work.
Despite of the project working sessions, EMMA delegation got a chance to visit the Port of Vuosaari and Aker Arctic Technology Inc. Furthermore, SeaHow (Meritaito) presented their services and experience on 3D scalling and smart byous.
EMMA will be attending the Münich Exhibition in May and the next international project meeting will be held October 4-6th, 2017 in Torun, Poland.
